Info. Wanted: Paroleee Arrest Made After Attempt Kidnapping of Two Compton Girls

A 14 year old female Hispanic girl was walking to school in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Compton Boulevard in Compton on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. At about 7:20 A.M a male Black suspect between 25-35 years old with dreadlocks allegedly attempted to kidnap her.

The suspect had exited his vehicle and began to drag her towards his car. A good Samaritan described as a female Hispanic pulled the suspect off of the victim.

The suspect fled the location in a maroon colored 1993 Chevrolet Camaro with T-Tops.

About 15 minutes later and two miles to the west, an attempted kidnapping of a second Hispanic female teenager walking on Compton Blvd. on her way to school allegedly occured. The victim was able to get away from the suspect and run to her residence.

During the course of the investigation the vehicle license plate was obtained, a composite sketch of the suspect was created, and a photograph of the vehicle was released to law enforcement and local schools in the Compton area.

On October 4th, 2013, the suspect was arrested and booked at Compton Station for Attempted Kidnapping with a bail amount of $100,000.00 Because the suspect is on parole, he is being held without bail.

On Friday, October 4, 2013, 35-year old Suspect Ashley Price was arrested by Compton Sheriff's Station personnel for Attempted Kidnapping of two female juvenile victims. He is due for arraignment in Compton Court on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims and is requesting information from the public.

(The good Samaritan who pulled the suspect off of the victim was described as a female Hispanic driving a new grey Charger.)
