Oakland, CA—On Monday, September 30, the Oakland Police Department posted the Chinese and Spanish versions of its community survey on its website at www.oaklandpolice.com. The survey is also available on the City of Oakland’s home page at www.oaklandnet.com.
The Oakland Police Department is dedicated to enhancing public safety through community policing strategies. Building relationships of trust between officers and community members are departmental priorities. To know whether its community policing efforts are successful, the Department has created a survey and is looking for input from all Oaklanders.
