Press Release 
On 9/23/13, our investigators learned that Guzman, a teacher at Santa Clara High School, may have been associated with inappropriate behavior. Investigators worked tirelessly and learned that Guzman had a relationship with a 17-year-old female student that attended Santa Clara High School. School officials have been supportive throughout the investigation.
Guzman was cooperative with investigators and was interviewed at the Santa Clara Police Department on 9/24/13. Upon conclusion of Guzman’s interview, he was arrested for multiple counts of unlawful sex with a minor.
Guzman was booked at the county jail where he remains in custody. He will be arraigned in the Santa Clara County Superior Court in the afternoon of 9/26/13.
