On September 23, 2013, at approximately 4:30 am, Davis Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of Drew Circle after receiving multiple reports of what sounded like a gun being discharged in the area of a large apartment complex. Arriving officers quickly determined that Wei Gin Lee, a 20 year old Davis resident, was responsible for shooting approximately 7 bullets into the air. Lee was taken into custody and the gun used was recovered. Lee was lodged into the Yolo County Jail on felony reckless discharge of a firearm. Surrounding apartments and neighborhoods were checked for anyone who might have been injured or property damaged but nothing was located.
