Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a deceased female found in Muscoy. 
On Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 10:52 a.m., an anonymous caller called Sheriff’s Dispatch to report a dead body in an abandoned house in the 2400 block of California Street, Muscoy. Deputies arrived and found the decomposed remains of an unidentified female inside the residence.
Sheriff’s Homicide investigators responded to assume the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to better determine the age and race of the victim, and cause and manner of death.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the female.
