Narrative:
On 09-14-13, at about 11:00 A.M. a very large, organized group of motorcycle riders, part of the Ride to the Flags charity event, will enter the City of Thousand Oaks from Camarillo.

Ride to the Flags is a motorcycle charity ride from Point Mugu Naval Base to Pepperdine University’s Wave of Flags 9/11 Memorial. The charity event raises money, making donations to persons and organizations associated with, and affected by the tragedy of 9/11.

The group of riders will enter the city limits of Thousand Oaks via Lynn Road near the community of Dos Vientos. The Thousand Oaks Police Department will be providing traffic control for the motorcycle riders. The riders will take Lynn Road eastbound to Hillcrest Drive where they will turn right onto Hillcrest Drive, continuing eastbound to Westlake Boulevard. The riders will travel southbound on Westlake Boulevard where they will leave the City of Thousand Oaks via eastbound Agoura Road.

The Thousand Oaks Police Traffic Bureau would like to inform the residents living in and round the areas of Lynn Road, Hillcrest Drive and Westlake Boulevard that the event will affect traffic and cause minor delays. If you live in the affected areas, please plan ahead and for extra travel time between the hours of 10:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M.

The Ride to the Flags organizers and the Police Department also encourages those living near the route to come out, watch, and support the riders while they make their way through the City.
