Expect traffic delays in Rolling Hills Estates and Lomita this weekend due to special events. 
There are two community events in Lomita Station's patrol area that may cause traffic delays this weekend.
The first is the 56th annual Portuguese Bend Horse Show at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates. Traffic along Hawthorne Boulevard near the park (25851 Hawthorne Boulevard) may experience delays between the hours of 8am and 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The other event is the 31st annual Lomita Fair at Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish (255th Street& Eshelman Avenue) in the city of Lomita. Traffic along Eshelman Avenue north of Pacific Coast Highway is predicted to be congested due to the fair. The fair begins Friday afternoon at 5pm and closes late in the evening each night over the weekend.
