NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are at a residence in the 2600 block of Chico Avenue, South El Monte, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a newborn boy. Los Angeles County Coroner investigators are also on scene.

The investigation is in the preliminary stages and limited information is available at this time.
