Frankfort, Il - On Thursday, August 29, 2013 at approximately 0548 hours the Frankfort Police Department received a report of a home invasion occurring in the 1000 block of Prestwick Drive. Upon arrival of Frankfort Police Officers, it was learned three (3) male suspects who had been in the house, left the area in a white 4-door vehicle, possibly a Toyota or Lexus; after they were confronted by the homeowner. The suspects made entry into the residence through a potential unsecured door. One suspect was armed with a knife and another was believed to be armed with a firearm. All three (3) suspects were described as white or Hispanic males, dark hair, 5’08” to 6’00”, average build and used bandanas to conceal their face. It should be noted that no one was harmed or injured during the incident. With the assistance of the Will County Sheriff’s Office, composite sketches are being developed of the suspects. Currently, the matter is under investigation and additional information may be released at a later time. The police department conducted a canvass of the area and there does not appear to be any direct danger as the suspects immediately fled that area.
