Oakland, CA — On Thursday, August 8, 2013, acting on information received from the community regarding an ongoing problem with illegal activity in a multi-unit complex in the 7800 block of MacArthur, the Oakland Police SWAT team along with the Hostage Negotiation Team served a narcotics and firearms related search warrant at the complex. Officers recovered an illegally possessed rifle and several boxes of ammunition and arrested one male adult in connection with the search warrant.
We want to thank the community for their assistance in reporting the illegal activity and helping us to reduce crime in the city.
