National Night Out is TOMORROW August 6th - Turn On Your Porch Lights in Support of Police-Community Partnership! Join Neighborhood Watch! 
This is a reminder that tomorrow night, Tuesday August 6th, is celebrated nationwide as National Night Out. This event is always held the first Tuesday in August, and highlights the safety partnerships created between the community and the police - especially through programs like Neighborhood Watch.
The Men and Women of the San Mateo Police Department thank you for your continued support, and effort in coordinating with the Police to stop and solve crime in San Mateo. SMPD, accompanied by our Staff Partners in the other CIty Organization Departments will be out in great numbers visiting block parties all over the City.
If you are not among the 49 blocks City-Wide who have registered an event with SMPD for National Night Out, please feel welcome to join the celebration at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center located at 725 Monte Diablo Ave. from 5-8pm tomorrow for a great public block party!
