ALERT ALERT ALERT. ALERT. ALERT. ALERT. ALERT ALERTOn Saturday August 3rd from 6:30 a.m. to noon, Police are warning residents & visitors of traffic delays throughout the island.
Police Officers & Volunteers will be posted at various locations throughout residential roads on the run & bicycle course to direct motorists or to temporarily close roads to ensure the safety of the runners & bicyclists.
Delays are anticipated along the following roadways, where participants will be given the right of way:
Bayshore Avenue- closed from 22nd south to 28th street south
Revere Blvd- closed from 22nd south to 28th street south
Expect Delays throughout the island especially between 24th street south to 31st street south & Brigantine Avenue.
Police advise motorists to allow extra time or plan alternate routes, slow down, and use caution when sharing the road with bicyclists.
