Info WANTED: Hit & Run silver Sport Uitlity Veh, Adult+Child Hit 830pm,Fri, 25800 blk Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu
On Friday, July 26, 2013 at approximately 8:30 PM, two pedestrians were attempting to cross the street on the 25800 block of Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver.
Both victims were transported via Los Angeles County Fire Dept. helicopter to a local hospital for treatment. An adult victim sustained a broken arm and a 3 year-old child sustained a fractured hip and numerous facial abrasions. Both were subsequently admitted to the hospital.
Pacific Coast Highway was closed between Corral Canyon Road and Puerco Canyon Road while Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies conducted their investigation. Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver of a silver-colored sport utility vehicle who left the scene after the accident.
