Full Notification

The Borough of Fair Lawn is providing notification that a water main break has occurred which has caused some residents to be without water or to experience loss of water pressure. The location of the water main break is River Road at Hopper Avenue. If you have no water at this time or experienced a loss of water pressure, once your water service has been restored, as precaution only, a boil water advisory is in effect. Water should be boiled for three minutes prior to consumption. This should be done until further notice. Water can be used for showering and washing of clothes. This is a local advisory only. It applies to your home and several other homes in the immediate area of the water main break. This is not a borough wide advisory. The advisory will remain in effect until repairs are complete and testing shows that the water quality is safe. You will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted.
