The Columbus Police Department is currently leading the law enforcement portion of the investigation into this morninng's plane crash at Columbus Regional Airport. Media inquiries should be directed to Columbus Police Department front desk at 812-376-2600. The Indiana State Police and numerous other public safety agencies are assisting in the investigation. Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration should be on scene early this afternoon to take over the investigation.
