Robbery In Delphi

Delphi-An arrest has been made in the Robbery of Bill’s Rock Shop at 113 South Washington Street in Delphi, IN which occurred today at approximately 12:13 p.m.

A joint investigation by the Indiana State Police at Lafayette, Delphi Police Department and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department has revealed that a male suspect wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a mask walked into the rock shop and demanded money from the clerk. An unknown amount of US Currency, a dark blue bank bag and check books were taken in the robbery. No weapon was displayed and the suspect left and headed north up Washington Street.

After providing information and evidence to Carroll County Prosecutor Robert Ives, David A Josleyn, 18 years old from Delphi has been booked into the Carroll County Jail on Robbery a Class C Felony. Investigators from all three departments assisted in the arrest of Mr. Josleyn. It appears Mr. Josleyn was working alone. The investigation is continuing.
