Localized Precautionary Boil Water Alert

The Borough is providing notification that a water main break has occurred, which has caused residents to be without water or to experience significant loss of pressure. The location of the water main break is Plaza Road at Madelyne Place.

If you have no water or experienced a loss of water pressure, once your water has returned, as a precaution, water should be boiled for three minutes prior to consumption. This should be done until further notice. Water can be used for showering and washing of clothes.

This is a localized advisory only. This only applies to those homes in the vicinity of Plaza Road and Madelyne Place who have experienced a loss of water pressure or no water.

This advisory will remain in effect until repairs are complete and testing shows the water quality to be safe. Affected residents will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted.

Please be advised that roadways are closed in the area of the water main break. Detours are posted.
