On 7/22/2013, Simi Valley Police Detectives arrested a suspect identified as Israel Barajas, 29 year old Palmdale resident, for the charges of lewd acts on a child under 14, and other charges. The arrest is a product of a month long investigation involving two female juveniles both under the age of 10. Although Barajas is a Palmdale resident, the investigation revealed that Barajas had committed the sexual acts on both girls in the city of Simi Valley. Barajas relationship to the victims was through a mutual adult friend.
