On Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 Marina Del Rey will join with neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles and communities throughout the nation in bringing about a greater awareness to crime and drug prevention.
National Night out is designed to: (1) Strengthen police-community partnerships and neighborhood spirit, (2) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, (3) generate support for and participation in local anticrime programs.
On this night all of our citizens will receive safety and crime prevention tips. The program will create a greater awareness on how a neighborhood block watch can create a safer community.
