Update: West Point Homicide Investigation
(San Andreas, CA) The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office has identified the second victim in the West Point homicide investigation as 37 year old Jessica Susan Elder of West Point. Ms. Elder suffered a gunshot wound to her head, and was released from a Modesto area hospital on July 17, 2013. Detectives continue to conduct interviews and complete other investigative tasks concerning this incident. In order to preserve the integrity of this investigation no further information will be released at this time.
