FULL CLOSURE OF NORTHBOUND U.S. HIGHWAY 101 IN SANTA BARBARA TONIGHT
SANTA BARBARA – The northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 will be fully closed just north of State Street from Wednesday night, July 17 at 10 pm until Thursday morning, July 18 at 6 am. The northbound U.S. Highway 101 on-ramp at State Street will also be closed during this time.

This closure will allow the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to conduct an investigation of an accident on U.S. Highway 101 this morning.

Motorists heading northbound will detour off Hwy. 101 onto Calle Real before re-entering northbound Hwy. 101 at the El Sueno Road on-ramp.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
