ISP Investigates Bank Robbery in Farmersburg, Sullivan County.

Sullivan County—Indiana State Police and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the 10:05 a.m. (today) robbery of the First Financial Bank located at 819 West Main Street in Farmersburg.

The suspect entered the bank through the front doors and approached a teller. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money and after receiving a non-disclosed amount of US currency, fled northbound on US 41 in a dark colored 4d passenger car driven by an unknown accomplice. There were no injuries reported during the robbery and no customers were inside the bank.

Suspect was described as an African-American male, 6’ to 6’5”, 185 to 200 pounds, with possibly some type of skin condition, wearing a black Chicago White Sox flat bill style cap, aviator style sunglasses, white long sleeve under shirt with a blue outer T-shirt, white cotton style gloves on both hands and gray baggy sweat style pants.

Assisting the ISP were the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Farmersburg Town Marshal.
