**MISSING CHILD FOUND**

The missing child was found at approximately 2150 hours in the unincorporated area of Gilroy. He was alert, not harmed and did not require any medical aid.

He will be reunited with this family when the investigation concludes.

The Gilroy Police Department wishes to thank the community members, media and Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office & their Search & Rescue Team for the assistance they provided which resulted with the child being located.

Brenden Hartsock, 10 years old – (Photo Attached)

Description/
White Male Juvenile, 5’03” tall, 146 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes

Last seen wearing/
A Native American headband, royal blue shirt, blue basketball shorts and grey tennis shoes

Hartsock was last seen today at approximately 1730 hours in the area of Monterey Road / IOOF Avenue, Gilroy. He is autistic and is in need of medications.

The Gilroy Police Department has requested assistance from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue Team to aid in the search for the missing juvenile.

The Sheriff’s Office currently has their police helicopter deployed over Gilroy to assist with the search.
