Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department would like to announce the arrest of Jamar Cleveland. Cleveland was arrested on July 29, 2013, at 1:42 AM, in the 2300 block of Embarcadero.
Today the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office charged 26-year-old Jamar Cleveland with 21 felony counts, including two counts of attempted murder.
Background: Cleveland is suspected to have committed two shootings, three carjackings, and at least two kidnappings on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, between 10:43 and 11:57 AM.
