Fireworks Advisory 
The Worth Police Department would like to remind all residents that by Illinois state law fireworks of any explosive composition, or any substance or combination of substances prepared for the purpose of producing a visible or audible effect of a temporary nature are ILLEGAL.
Village ordinance 9-7-2, also restricts the sale or use of fireworks.
Additionally, it shall be unlawful for any person(s) to use sparklers on public property.
The Worth Police Department will be taking strict enforcement against illegal fireworks.
Also, we would like to remind everyone that children should be
supervised by an adult at all times.
