Last night, June 27, 2013 at 12:20 AM, an armed robbery occurred in the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue. Two suspects robbed four victims at gunpoint.
Robberies in the Adams Point neighborhood have been and will be a priority for OPD Area 2.
We believe the same two individuals may have committed a series of robberies in the Adams Point neighborhood within the last week, approaching victims during late night or very early morning hours at these locations: 400 block Perkins, 400 block Bellevue, and 350 block Belmont. Both suspects have been reported as armed with a firearm during the offenses.
SUSPECT 1 is described as a large framed Black male, 25 - 35-years-old, approximately 6'0+, 250 - 300lbs, possibly bald.
SUSPECT 2 is described a Black male, approximately 6'0'', 180lbs, appearing younger than Suspect 1.
At this time, we are seeking leads and continuing investigations on multiple suspects and crimes. OPD is requesting that anyone who may have video-recorded at or near the scene review their footage and share it with us.
