Officers from Oakland Police Department's Area 2 wish to make you and your neighbors aware of an apparent robbery series occurring near or in the Adams Point Neighborhood.

We are aware of at least three incidents possibly involving the same or similar two suspects; these two suspects have approached victims together during late night or very early morning hours at several proximate locations within the last week: 400 block Perkins, 400 block Bellevue, and 350 block Belmont.

Suspect 1 is described as a large framed Black male, 25 - 35-years-old, approximately 6'0+, 250 - 300lbs, possibly bald. Suspect 2 is described a Black male, approximately 6'0'', 180lbs, appearing younger than Suspect 1. Both suspects have been reported as armed with a firearm during the offenses.

Additional and unrelated robberies of persons have also occurred in the area. Please be mindful of personal safety precautions and report any suspicious behavior or individuals to the Oakland Police Department. Include current location, good descriptions of persons and related vehicles when calling. We are hopeful that, with community awareness and information, we can gather information and leads to impact these criminal trends in the area.
