Sunday Assault Investigation at Restaurant in Malibu - Suspect Named


On Sunday, June 23, 2013, at approximately 6:30 PM, Malibu / Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a call regarding an altercation at a restaurant located in the 22700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu.

Deputies contacted an injured male adult, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury. He has been treated and was released this morning.

Witness statements indicate that Scottie Pippen was one of the combatants in the altercation and is currently a named suspect for a charge of Assault with Intent to Commit Great Bodily Injury. Detectives from Malibu/ Lost Hills Station are expected to talk with Suspect Pippen in the near future.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and Los Angeles County Sheriff's detectives are attempting to obtain additional information regarding the incident.
