At 2:40 PM today, the OPD Hostage Negotiation Team was able to have the suspect surrender to police. The suspect was safely taken into custody.
OPD will remain on scene and search several apartments that the suspect was known to have entered. For the safety of residents and young children, OPD will continue to search to locate a possible firearm that the suspect reportedly had.
