Tippecanoe County-Today at approximately 1:00 a.m, members of the Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Units from the Lafayette Post executed a search warrant at a trailer and discovered an active meth lab, methamphetamine and precursors to make meth.
Trooper Brock Russell of the Indiana State Police advised that a month long investigation resulted in a search warrant for the residence of 4410 State Road 25 North Lot 7 in Lafayette, IN. Upon execution of the warrant, precursors for making meth, an active meth lab and finished methamphetamine were discovered at the residence. Three suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
Booked into the jail were Stephen Michael Walts, 41 years old and Royanna M. Duncan, 40 years old who both live at the residence were charged with Manufacturing of Methamphetamine a Class B Felony, Possession of Meth a Class D Felony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance a Class D Felony. Also arrested was a Tina S Cook, 38 years old from Lafayette, IN who was charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine a Class B Felony and Visiting A common Nuisance a Class A Misdemeanor. The investigation is continuing.
Troopers with the ISP Meth Suppression Team Are Brock Russell, Kent Wainscott, Jerrad Foutch, Sean Schaefer, and Trooper Detective Tim Kendall. Assisting were Troopers Tyler Bentlage and Tyler Stinson.
