The Police Administration Building, 455 7th Street, will be closed to the public starting Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 5:00 PM until Monday, June 17, 2013, 8:00 AM due to continued water damage restoration efforts.
During this time (Thursday at 5:00 PM to Monday at 8:00 AM), no parking will be available on 7th Street between Washington and Broadway (south side of the street).
To provide as much continued service as possible to the public under these conditions, temporary and alternate work stations and processes have been implemented. The restoration work is near completion. We expect to resume normal police services no later than Monday, June 17, when the doors will re-open to the public at 8:00 AM.

Vehicle Releases
Customers needing a vehicle release form can obtain the necessary paperwork from the Eastmont Substation between the hours 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM only. Due to a City of Oakland furlough day on Friday, June 14th, we will be operating on a weekend/holiday schedule, which is why we will only be open until 12:00 PM. The only form of payment that can be accepted at this time is cash and business checks; we are working on establishing alternative payment methods for the public’s convenience. We anticipate this service also being available on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to noon as normally scheduled. AC Transit route information to Eastmont for community members living near the PAB is posted below.

Requests for public records can be emailed to [email protected]. If an individual does not have access to email, a request can be mailed to the PRR Unit at 455 7th Street, 3rd Floor, Oakland, CA 94607 or by completing and hand delivering a Public Records Request form to the lobby of the Eastmont Substation.
