In the heat remember:
Stay hydrated
Slow down strenuous activities
Stay cool
A car is like an oven, do NOT leave children or pets in vehicles
Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and caffeinated beverages; reduce or eliminate strenuous activities; wear lightweight, light-colored clothes; stay inside as much as possible.
Check on your neighbors if they are in ill health or may be heat sensitive.
Make sure your pets have fresh water and plenty of shade.
