NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are at 169th Street/Billings Drive, Carson, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and the wounding of a female.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital where the male victim was pronounced dead. The female victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
