One Injured in One Car Traffic Crash

Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports that deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a one car traffic crash on Starbrick Street near Kessington Road in Cass County's Mason Township at 10:51pm on 6-3-2013. The investigation of the crash showed that a vehicle driven by Crystal Stinnett (23 years old from Edwardsburg, MI) was west bound on Starbrick St. Stinnett ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Stinnett was transported to Elkhart Genral Hospital for treatment for her injuries. Stinnett was not wearing her seatbelt and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. Assisting at the scene of the crash were Porter Fire Dept and Porter EMS.
