Man arrested with meth, passed out, in stolen vehicle. #okcoso
(Edmond) May 15, 2013 just after 8:00am and Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy was driving in the 7600-block of NW 234th Street in Edmond when he noticed a white Dodge pickup parked on the side of the road. The deputy approached the vehicle and found a man inside passed out, and the vehicle was running without a key in the ignition.
The deputy attempted to make contact with the man in the truck, 32-year old William Talbott (d.o.b. 04/26/1981), who took several minutes to wake up and acknowledge the deputies presence. While speaking with the deputy Talbott thought he was in Shawnee, Oklahoma and admitted to using methamphetamine around 3am or 4am that same day.
Inside of the truck the deputy found a zip lock bag with what appeared to be a crystal like substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine, the deputy also found a syringe.
The deputy also determined that the truck Talbott was in had been reported stolen out of Oklahoma City on May 13, 2013.
Talbott was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of:
*Possession of a stolen vehicle
*Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
*Actual physical control
*Possession of drug paraphernalia
*Possession of stolen property
Talbott is currently in jail his bond has been set at $8,500.00.
