Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash with another vehicle in Brentwood.

A driver operating a Nissan Sentra was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Bergen Street and Suffolk Avenue on May 11 at approximately 7:10 a.m. when he fled the scene without stopping. A passenger in the other car suffered a fractured femur and was transported to Southside Hospital for treatment.

The Nissan was described as silver with a North Carolina license plate and suffered front-end damage including a missing front bumper. The driver was described as a male, possibly Hispanic, with dark skin and dark hair. His vehicle was last seen fleeing north on Bergen Street.
