On May 10, 2013, at approximately 11:30 PM reports were received about the theft of vehicle tires. The thefts involved a Honda parked on Hill St and an Acura parked on Franklin Pl. Both cars were placed on cinder blocks and the wheels were removed.
Morristown Police Detectives responded and are exploring links between similar thefts that occurred on March 17, 2013, in the same area. We have been working with other law enforcement agencies that have experienced similar incidents. The investigation is ongoing.
Residents are asked to remain aware and report all suspicious activity.
