Home Invasion occurred on the 23300 Block of Longacre Court. See Nixle for details. 
Farmington Public Safety officers are investigating a home invasion that occurred on the 23300 block of Longacre Court (neighborhood west of Gill Rd near Longacre Elementary School) on Monday April 29, 2013.
The homeowner arrived at his residence at approximately 6:30PM to find that the front door was forced open. Jewelry and electronics were taken from the home.
The homeowner advised that he left his residence at approximately 7:00AM and locked his front door and dead-bolt.
This incident follows a separate daytime home invasion that occurred on the 24000 block of Pickett St (east of Gill Rd. and south of Grand River Ave) on April 12, 2013. In that incident, the unknown suspect(s) forced open the rear door and stole numerous items of jewelry.
The Farmington Public Safety Department reminds residents to report any suspicious persons, vehicles or circumstances in your neighborhoods immediately. Please exercise a heightened sense of alert as the suspects apparently are targeting homes during daytime hours.
