White male robs Bank of America at 3601 S Washington early this morning.

On Tuesday April 16th at 9:10am, APD officers were sent to the Bank of America at 3601 S Washington on a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival offices learned that a white male subject described as being in his 40’s, 5’9, wearing glasses, a scruffy growth of facial hair, entered the bank and approached the teller line. As he walked up to the teller, he slid a note across the counter demanding money. He reached inside his jacket with his other hand indicating he had a weapon. No weapon was actually seen though. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the suspect left the bank and proceeded north out the bank towards the frontage road of I-27. The suspect was last seen going East on the frontage road. There is no vehicle description and it is unknown if the suspect had one or not. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue Dallas Cowboys toboggan, a tan or gray jacket and tan pants. He was possibly wearing a red striped shirt under his jacket. The investigation is ongoing and with the assistance of the local FBI office.
