*** UPDATE 04/12/13: On 04/11/2013 Britton Mckenzie was arrested in Sudbury, Ontario and is currently being held in Jail. The Sun Prairie Police Department does not have any charges on Mckenzie at this time and do not anticipate any further updates.

(SUDBURY, ON) – On April 11th, 2013 Members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment and Highway Safety Division acting on information that a 65 year old male from Wisconsin (wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections) was arrested without incident during a traffic stop on Highway 17 in the Sudbury area. The individual was initially taken to the Sudbury Detachment, and then to the Sudbury District Jail.

The Sun Prairie Police Department and the Department of Corrections are seeking information on the whereabouts of an AWOL Sex Offender. Britton D Mckenzie 66 years of age recently cut off his GPS monitoring bracelet and his whereabouts are currently unknown. Mckenzie may be driving a red 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport with Wisconsin disabled plates of 32537D. Mckenzie has been known to frequent coffee shops and libraries and has history of exposing himself to young adult females.
