On April 1, 2013 at approximately 4:43 pm Redwood City Police Officers responded to the First Republic Bank at 776 El Camino Real on report of a bank robbery that had just occurred. The suspect entered the bank, presented a demand note to a teller, and then fled with the stolen cash. A bank employee called the police as soon as the suspect fled, while two other bank employees went outside and saw the suspect walking southbound on Broadway.
