Parks Bureau Deputies arrest a man for Burglary
On March 29, 2013, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Parks Bureau Special Problems Team contacted a male adult for drinking a beer in public adjacent to Castaic Lake Park.
During the interaction the deputies identified the suspect as a Jonathan Christopher Wasteney a resident of Valencia, who was on parole for Burglary with a $125,000 warrant for Possession of Stolen Property. After further investigation it was determined the suspect had burglarized a local business. The deputies were able to recover some of the stolen items.
He was arrested and booked at Santa Clarita Station.
Castaic Lake Park is located at 32132 Ridge Route Road Castaic.
