Homicides – Between 2/24-3/2, there was one gang-related homicide. In 2013 YTD, there have been four homicides. In 2012 YTD, there were five homicides.

Rape – Between 2/24-3/2, there were no reported rapes. In 2013 YTD, there have been four reported rapes. In 2012 YTD, there were 6 reported rapes.

Robberies – Between 2/24-3/2, there were 12 reported robberies. There were two armed robberies & 10 strong-arm robberies. Five incidents occurred between 1300-1500 hrs. During this time period, District I & District III each had 4 incidents occur. In 2013 YTD, total robberies are down approx. 5% from 2012.

Aggravated Assaults – Between 2/24-3/2, there were 7 reported incidents of aggravated assault. Those incidents include one domestic violence incident and one child assault incident. During this period, there were three gang-related ADW-Gun incidents; two occurred in District III. In 2013 YTD, aggravated assaults are up approx. 13% from 2012.

Residential Burglary – Between 2/24-3/2, there were 4 reported residential burglaries. Approx. 75% incidents occurred between 9:00am -4:00pm. During this time period, two incidents occurred in District IV. In 2013 YTD, residential burglaries are up approx. 3% from 2012.

Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 2/24-3/2, there were two reported comm/other structure burglaries. The two incidents occurred between 3:00am -5:00am. In 2013 YTD, there have been 31 reported incidents. In 2012 YTD, there were 22 reported incidents.

• Incident occurred on 2/25-2/26, 9:50pm – 9:30am; Rooftop burglary at Sprint store.
Grand Theft Auto – Between 2/24-3/2, there were 17 reported stolen vehicles. 50% of vehicles were stolen between 0000-0400 hrs. The most frequent vehicles stolen were 90’s model Honda Accords (4) and GMC Yukons (2). During this time period, District III had five reported stolen vehicles (2 in RD 2836). District I & District IV each had four reported stolen vehicles during this time period. In 2013 YTD, GTAs are up approx. 17% from 2012.

Vehicle Burglary – Between 2/24-3/2, there were 4 reported vehicle burglaries. Three incidents occurred between 11:00pm - 5:00am. During this time period, there were two vehicle burglaries in RD 2823. In 2013 YTD, there have been 48 reported incidents; up approx. 12% from 2012.
