On Monday, March 4, 2013 a Deputy was dispatched to the 8800 block of Brookville Road in Salem Township for the report of a home invasion. Suspect(s) attempted entry into the residence by prying open a rear entry door during the afternoon hours. However, it appears that due to a large canine being inside of the residence that the suspect(s) fled prior to entering the residence as nothing was taken. There was a light colored minivan occupied by three occupants seen in the driveway of the residence during the hours of occurrence. The investigation is still ongoing.
