I-74 westbound near the 24 mile marker(mm) is down to one lane due to a jackknifed semi. This location is approximately one mile west of the State Road 25 exit at the 25 mm. Use extreme caution while traveling I-74 in the area of the 24 mm. Be diligent of wrecker crews, law enforcement officers and state highway workers trying to clean up the area.
All roads in the Lafayette District are snow covered, slick and hazardous. If you must drive, slow down and give yourself plenty of space between vehicles. Allow plenty of time to get to your final destination.
