Light rain will change over to heavy snow during the overnight hours. A winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service for Butler County. This storm is likely to produce 4 to 6 inches of snow. Those parked on snow routes are required to move their vehicles off of snow routes when snow reaches 3 inches or when a snow emergency is declared. We are likely to reach this stage in the middle of the night so motorists would be well advised to move vehicles off snow routes before going to bed.
