As daylight changes to dusk then darkness, temperatures are falling in the area. Conditions in the Lafayette State Police District which includes White, Carroll, Clinton, Montgomery, Fountain, Warren, Benton and Tippecanoe Counties are as follows.

Road conditions on I-65 and I-74 are wet with bridges and overpasses starting to become slick as the temperatures drop. US, State and County roads are becoming snow covered and slick due to the change over from a wintery mix to snow. Motorist should use caution when commuting back to their home from work this evening. Leave plenty of room between your vehicle and the one in front of you. Slow down and give yourself plenty of time to get home. Avoid travel if it is not necessary.
