Los Angeles: Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Man Dead.
On Friday, March 1, 2013, around 7:30 a.m., Valley Traffic Division Officers were called to investigate a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Roscoe Boulevard, at Yarmouth Avenue, in the community of Northridge California.
The preliminary investigation shows the collision occurred when 37-year-old Francisco Juarez was driving a 2006 Ford van westbound on Roscoe Boulevard. Juarez attempted to make a left turn to southbound Yarmouth Avenue and crossed into the path of Jerramy Barrios’ 2003 Suzuki motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard. The collision that followed critically injured Barrios.
Los Angeles City Firefighters transported Barrios to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Jerramy Barrios was a 37-years-old resident of Reseda.
Juares was not injured in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division. No arrests have been made at this time. Next of kin have been notified.
