The Frankfort Police Department wanted to give our residents a friendly reminder that we do not solicit for donations from residents. Apparently, there are phone calls going around that ask for donations to benefit the Frankfort Police Department. We strongly urge you to not give out any personal information over the phone including credit card numbers. The Frankfort Police Department will begin its annual Citizen’s Police Academy on Thursday night, March 7th. This free 12 week program, meets every Thursday night from 7-9:30pm. This year’s program includes a tour of Will County Jail, a Taser demonstration, the shooting simulator, crime scene night, a trip to the coroner’s office, and much more! If you are interested please fill out an application at www.frankfortpolice.net , or you can pick up an application at our police department. Participants must be 18 years old. Space is limited, so please get your application in today if you are interested.
