Freezing Rain Advisory Issued by NWS in effect for our area thru 10am 2/11/13

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory, which is in effect from 3 am to 10 am EST Monday, February 11, 2013.

Freezing rain should overspread the area from west to east between 3 am and 6 am Monday morning. As warmer air moves in at the surface, the freezing rain should change to rain in most areas between 8 am and 10 am Monday morning. The change to plain rain will take the longest in the Poconos and far northwest New Jersey.

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. Give yourself extra braking distance while and use extreme caution while traveling Monday morning.
